The PCA is now accepting applications for the 7th Annual Holiday Art & Craft Show that will take place on Saturday November 30, 2013 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 96 Jewett Parkway. Proceeds from fees and admission go to support the programs of the Parkside Community Association. More information and a downloadable registration form availalble here.

The Parkside Oktoberfest isn't just a 5K Run. It's also an Oktoberfest Party for the entire neighborhood! There will be plenty of food, drink and music at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd on Saturday, September 28th from 6 to 9 pm. Dogfish Head Craft Beer and grilled sausages & hot dogs will be available to purchase.
The Parkside 1st Annual Oktoberfest 5K Run is on Saturday September 28, 2013 at 5 pm in Delaware Park along the ring road. There will be a 6 pm Oktoberfest after-party at the Church of the Good Shepherd on Jewett Parkway featuring Dogfish Head Craft Beer. More info and sign up form here.
Your last chance to enjoy a movie in the meadow this season will be this Friday. Bring a sweatshirt and picnic blanket and have some fresh popcorn, cold water and traditional movie candy while watching King Arthur and his knights embark on a low-budget search for the Grail, encountering many very silly obstacles. The show starts at sundown around 8:00 pm in Delaware Park near the Lodge off Parkside Avenue and is free and open to the public.
The next historic walking tour of Parside is scheduled for Saturday September 14th. The tours begin at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd located at the corner of Jewett Parkway and Summit Avenue at 10:00 am. Tickets are $10 per person, $5 for students.

This week the PCA presents The Sting as part of the Movies in the Meadow series. The film starts at 8:05 pm in Delaware Park near the Lodge off Parkside Avenue. Bring a blanket and enjoy the evening with friends and neighbors. This event is free and open to the public.
