The PCA recently posted several Crime Alerts using our new email notification system.
 
A home on Tillinghast was broken into the morning of Wednesday, 8/18. An intruder cut a screen and came in through a back window. Nothing was taken. The owner believes they may have surprised the intruder and scared them off.
 
A car was broken into on the 300 block of Summit Avenue the evening of 8/18. A small amount of change was taken. Car doors were left open.
 

Scajaquada Creek Summit Meeting

Senator Thompson's Scajaquada Summit will be held on Thursday, August 19th from 10:00 to 11:30 at 10 AM at the Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society (25 Nottingham Court at Elmwood). NY State Senator Antoine M. Thompson is gathering all stakeholders to discuss Scajaquada Creek water quality.

Medaille College Public Information Meeting

Medaille College is holding a Public Information meeting regarding campus construction. At this meeting, Medaille will update its plans for the addition to Huber Hall, discussed at their most recent Public Information Session, and review the planning concepts for the College's next project.

Architectual & Historical Walking Tour of Parkside

The Parkside Community Association presents an approximately 2 hour guided walking tour of the historic Parkside neighborhood on Saturday, July 10, beginning at 10 am, rain or shine. Learn about the architecture, lifestyle, and history of this fascinating area. The walk is easy, the pace leisurely. Many of the historic structures and landmarks in the neighborhood are highlighted, including the Church of the Good Shepherd and the Pierce Arrow Building. Walk past beautifully manicured gardens and learn to appreciate the different architecture.
