    Safety Updates

We would like to remind neighbors to remain alert regarding their safety  by remembering these tips:

    1. Never leave packages in your vehicle in plain sight. Always put them in your trunk before you get to your next destination.
    2. Never leave any personal items in your vehicle in plain sight. This includes money, credit cards, cell phones, purses and GPS Units. Police advise you to remove the GPS unit and if necessary, take it with you along with the suction cup attachment.
    3. Always park in lighted areas.
    4. Never leave doors unlocked or windows open.
    5. Always leave yourself extra time. By giving yourself extra time, you'll be able to remind yourself of these basic shopping safety tips.
    6. Leave a porch or exterior light on overnight.
    7. If you see anything suspicious, call 911.
    8. Watch for bicyclists and pedestrians on our roadways. Please be extra alert during the warm summer months.
    9. If you are a bicyclist or pedestrian, please obey traffic laws and keep watch for passing motorists.
If you see anything suspicious in the neighborhood, please do not hesitate to call police. You can also call the PCA at 838-1240 if you would like us to look into the matter.
