Breaking & Entering (burglary) reported on the 200 block of Parkside Avenue (between Jewett and Russell).
    Report for the Buffalo News:
A Parkside Avenue resident surprised an intruder in his home about 12:50p.m. Friday, Northwest District police said. The man, who lives between Jewett Parkway and Russell Street across from the Buffalo Zoo, said he returned home to let his dogs out and heard someone upstairs. The intruder, a man wearing dark running pants and a white shirt, ran back upstairs when he saw the homeowner and broke two windows by jumping through them to make his escape down the roof of the rear portion of the house. Police determined that the burglar had entered through a kitchen window. There was no report of anything being stolen.
