The day includes legal presentations by attorneys and experts on numerous legal issues such as, patient rights and advocacy, Medicaid & Medicare, estate and advance care planning, and more. Participants can also register for a free 15-minute, one-on-one consultation with a private attorney, and receive expert advice from community agencies tabling throughout the event.
Interested attendees are encouraged to register ahead of time at erie.gov/ELD. Those who are registered will receive a free lunch, raffle tickets for a basket raffle and a reusable canvas bag with program materials inside.
This free event is hosted by the Erie County Department of Senior Services and Center for Elder Law & Justice. For more information and to register, visit: https://elderjusticeny.org/event/elder-law-day/
