    Be a Good Neighbor

Parkside prides itself on walkablity and being very neighborly. One of the ways you can help everyone this season is to be timely and thorough with keeping the sidewalks clear of snow and ice. [City Ordinance: It shall be the duty of every owner or occupant of any premises abutting any public street to remove, before 9:00 a.m., all snow and ice which may have fallen upon the sidewalk abutting said premises. It shall be necessary to remove such snow or ice from a space three feet in width.]

School children, parents pushing strollers, those with mobility devices, pet walkers, and people commuting to area businesses, to friends, or just going out for a stroll, rely on your kindness and efforts to make their travel safe and efficient. Thank you for your help!
