    PCA Sponsored Events!

Thank you for Springing It On!

That's a wrap! In just 24 hours, YOU did so much to help the Parkside Community Association. We can't thank you enough for your generosity on during our campaign!

"Spring It On" is 24-hour online fundraising event designed to raise awareness and resources for nonprofit organizations in Erie County and Niagara County. The event seeks to mobilize citizens for one day of giving to strengthen and support our community. This 24-hour event encourages individuals in the community to make a one-time, secure, online donation to the Parkside Community Association and is powered by United Way.

    19th Annual Tour of Homes

    Last call for tour homes!
We are hoping to get lucky! We are seeking one last home for our line up in the northern end of the neighborhood, surrounding and including Tillinghast, and the homes north of Amherst on Crescent, Summit, Woodward, Parkside, and Colvin.

    Tour Date: Sunday, May 21, 2017 | 11AM - 4:30PM
Darwin Martin House Complex | 125 Jewett Parkway, Buffalo, NY 14214

Every year the Parkside Tour of Homes invites people from the city, suburbs, and even Toronto and Rochester to visit our neighborhood. It's a chance for us to show off a little, share our unique slice of Buffalo, and raise money for PCA efforts throughout the year.

The PCA Tour of Homes Committee is hard at work planning our event for 2017, and we still have room on our roster for a few more homes - including yours, hopefully!

We'd be happy to answer any questions or concerns you have, and even put you in touch with homeowners in the neighborhood who have had their homes on the tour in the past. We're looking for a few more homes, so if you're thinking about it, please get in touch at pcadirector@gmail.com or call 716-838-1240.

    News from the PCA

How Has the PCA Helped YOU?

We are working on a project to generate "Human Interest" stories that highlight the impact the Parkside Community Association (PCA) has had on the people of Parkside. These stories are planned to be written, with the possibility of expanding to video. They will be used in ongoing efforts by the PCA to highlights how donations and programming are impacting the community and the neighbors who make it so wonderful. They may appear in print, on social media or in our email newsletters and communications.

We'd greatly appreciate your time in telling your story. If you are interested in answering questions for our campaign efforts and possibly being a part of video and photo accompaniments, please reach out to the office, 716-838-1240 or PCAdirector@gmail.com.

Thank you for all your extraordinary efforts to make Parkside such a wonderful place.

    Julie Lewitzky Drawings

The Parkside Community Association office is decorated in some of the original home drawings by Julie Lewitzky. If you have a drawing of your home, would you share a copy with us? You may send images to PCAdirector@gmail.com, or stop by the office and we will scan your drawing. Thank you for contributing to our neighborhood archives!

Additionally, if you have researched your home, have stories about previous owners or the history that took place in your house, or know about the architect or something about the changes made to your home over time, that is something we would love to know too.

If you want to participate in this project, please contact the PCA, 716-838-1240 or PCAdirector@gmail.com, and we can work together.
