News from the PCA

Hello Parkside Gardeners - Exciting news!

Parkside will be a part of Garden Walk Buffalo beginning in July 2019!

The weekend of July 27-28, Parkside gardens will be included in the largest garden event in the United States. Planning is fully underway and we can announce that there will be a headquarters and shuttle stop at St Mark’s, where visitors can find Garden Walk merchandise, maps and directories.

What does this mean?

The Parkside gardens will see many more visitors to appreciate all of our hard work! Best of all, Parkside will be eligible for the Marvin Lunenfeld Beautification Grants (https://gardensbuffaloniagara.com/about/beautification-grants/)

Garden Walk Buffalo will be on a firmer foundation and live well into the future.

The Parkside Garden Tour will take place simultaneously with the annual Tour of Homes, June 23, 2019.  Details for the Parkside Home/Garden Tour will be announced soon.

Sign up for Garden Walk Buffalo will begin in mid-February and will continue until May 15 – watch for our call for gardeners and volunteers!    If you haven’t been a part of this event, now is the time!

Feel free to email Ivy Cornell, PCA Office Administrator, at [email protected] with questions, feedback, or concerns regarding Parkside participation in Garden Walk Buffalo.
